Court is held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm, (unless notified in advance of a different date.)
Court is held at Owensville City Hall, 107 W Sears Avenue, Owensville, MO 65066.
The side door opens at 6:00 pm on court night.

You have been summoned to appear in Municipal court by the date shown on your ticket. Some tickets can be paid prior to court and do not require a court appearance. To open the fine schedule below click on the fines & cost or call the court at 573-437-4558. Fines & cost schedule are subject to change.
You have the right to discuss your charges with the City Prosecutor or you may hire an attorney, at your expense, to represent you in court.
One continuance may be granted upon request.
You may plead guilty by mail or by appearance to the Owensville Municipal Court to pay the fines & cost. If you plead guilty, you will be given a new court date to have your ticket paid in full, or you still must appear at each court until the fines & cost are fully paid. You will not be arrested for not having money to pay, however you still must appear in court each month until paid in full.
If you enter a plea of not guilty your case will be set for trial at a later date.
If you are indigent, you may be required to complete documentation to be determined by the court as evidence of your financial status and as an aid to the court in assessing fines, costs and setting of a payment plan.
If you do not come to court when you are summoned to do so, you are subject to a warrant being issued for your arrest.
